Job Summary:

In this role, you will compile and analyze financial information. You will reconcile general ledger balances and examine recording and reporting documents. You will support in identifying process improvement opportunities and developing new solutions and process documentation. You will scrutinize, initiate, and complete corrective actions to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance. #LI-HB1 #LI-Hybrid

This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Monthly - Process Manual Trial Balances and additional Ledger Adjustments, process Equity Pick-Ups, Monitor Automated Revenue Recognition process, provide monthly reporting to Stakeholders.

  • Review of Joint Associations, identification and resolution of reconciling items.

  • Assist in application testing.

  • Collaborates with Operations Reporting Supervisor on responding to inquiries.

  • Provide timely and accurate information on internal and external audits when needed.

  • Involvement in maintaining Chart of Accounts, Exchange Rates.

  • Processing miscellaneous files for billing and recovery purposes.

  • Assists in the preparation of detailed schedules and reports.

  • Assists and participates in General Ledger Month End Closing.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience​

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

  • Basic knowledge of document imaging software, procurement systems, financial reporting, Financials

  • Basic skills in the areas of oral and written communications, project financial process controls, MS Office suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook), accounts payable, general ledger, and billing

  • Basic knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials

  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and applicable accounting methods

  • Must be dependable, punctual, conscientious, and function well in a team environment

  • The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable and have the ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude and maintain composure under stress

  • The ideal candidate must be a 'self-starter' capable of working independently, taking initiative identifying and resolving issues, managing workload, and handling correspondence

  • The ideal candidate must possess good organization skills, the ability to provide constant attention to detail and have the ability to apply quality control over a heavy volume of work with tight deadlines.
