This position will be on 3rd shift hours, Sunday night - Thursday night, 11pm -7am
Position Summary:
With direct guidance in a team environment, responsible for routine assembling/testing, lock wiring and final product detailing functions. Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment.
Essential Functions:
Required to hand deburr.
Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule.
Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specification.
Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
Record test results on data forms.
Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications and quality directives.
Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
May be required to run automatic weld machine.
Perform other related responsibilities.
Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities.
Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
Must demonstrate effective English verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
