Overview
Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. W are currently seeking a full-time Alternate Supervisor for our Glen Ellyn contract. Starting pay is $82,001.92 for dual certified Paramedic/Firefighter.The basic function of the Alternate Supervisor is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois as well asact up as Shift Supervisor.
Qualifications
Alternate Supervisor Qualifications:
Paramedic License
2+ years of 911 experience (3+ years preferred, but not required)
Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
CPR Certified
21 Years of age
Valid Illinois Driver’s License
ACLS (Metro will train)
PALS (Metro will train)
Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and backgroundcheck
