Westdale Asset Management Maintenance Technician in Glen Allen, Virginia

Rate: Up to $27.00 per hour based on experience (Hourly non-exempt position)

Westdale Real Estate Investment and Management seeks a Maintenance Technician for our Richmond, VA office buildings.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to planning, implementing, coordinating, and supervising all mechanical operations, maintenance, energy management, and other operational programs to protect and maximize the operating efficiency of the properties.  In addition, provide prompt and courteous service to tenant requests and maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with contractors and vendors.

Qualifications include a minimum of 1 year of experience in basic maintenance and repair on residential, single-family or commercial properties. Knowledge of commercial HVAC including experience with a cooling tower, water treatment, and large tonnage chiller maintenance is a plus!  Furthermore, requires rotation of on-call duty after hours.  Education requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, and or SMT/SMA designation and EPA license preferable.  Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Work Days: Monday – Friday

Work Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Required License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License in the state where the property is located, or a neighboring state in proximity to the property where applicable.
