Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Medicare Sales Operations team at one of our largest healthcare clients in the Glen Allen, VA area. This is a hybrid role with one day onsite per week in Glen Allen, VA. The pay for this role is $35/hr-$55/hr based on experience. This individual will play a key role in optimizing sales processes within the organization. The Medicare Sales Operations team supports broker onboarding, recertification, commission vouchering, system implementations and enhancements. Work is assigned through a ticketing system that tracks requests for appointment, broker general inquiries and commission inquiries. Data entry to onboard a broker is performed in 5 systems to complete account set up end to end. The average turnaround time for processing cases is 24 hours to send invitations and 72 hours to complete processing once all information is received. Broker and commission inquiries are researched and resolved using four systems. The turnaround time for research and resolution is 5 business days. Projects will involve internal business partners and external vendors. The Business Analyst will be responsible for user acceptance testing (UAT), postproduction data validations (including data extractions using SQL) and creating . Furthermore, the team is currently implementing Salesforce CRM, so this individual will be helping to manage the salesforce application, define system processes, and integrate with other CRMs and systems across the organization.

CRM Management:

-Manage the CRM system: Ensure data accuracy, streamline workflows, and support the sales team.

-Analyze sales data: Extract insights from CRM data to drive informed decisions.

Process Improvement:

-Identify opportunities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance sales processes.

-Optimize operational efficiency: Continuously improve workflows and procedures.

Technical Skills:

-SQL Proficiency: Write and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.

-UAT Testing: Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements.

Advanced Microsoft Excel Skillset: Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc.

Sales Analytics and Reporting:

-Create reports and dashboards: Develop sales performance metrics and visualizations.

-Support strategic planning: Assist sales leadership in forecasting and goal-setting.

Collaboration and Communication:

-Work closely with stakeholders: Engage with sales, IT, and other teams.

-Translate business needs: Bridge the gap between technical requirements and business objectives.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Healthcare, Computer Science, or related fields.

-2+ years of Business Analyst experience

-User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience

-SQL skillset including writing queries to extract data

-Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset (i.e., V-Lookup, pivot tables, etc.)

-Strong data analysis and reporting skillset

-Experience gathering / analyzing requirements and ensuring deliverables

-Ability to facilitate meetings with stakeholders -Project Coordination Experience

-Salesforce CRM experience

-Experience with Visio

-Experience in Healthcare Industry

-Familiarity with Medicare null
