[GENERAL DESCRIPTION: [Under the direct supervision of the Senior Center Supervisor, incumbent provides initial contact and interacts with residents and other customers in person or by telephone, responds to their service needs and issues, and serves as support staff to the Senior and Social Services department. *[ESSENTIAL DUTIES:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""}*

  1. Provides exceptional customer service to the public in person, by telephone, and through email. Greets visitors, provides assistance by answering questions about Senior and Social Services and offers referrals to local resources when appropriate. Collects payments and issues receipts for programs and services.
  2. Registers customers in for a variety of programs and services using online software programs.
  3. Schedules rides and dispatches drivers for Dial-a-Ride program.
  4. Prepares monthly invoices for contractual instructors. Processes recurring monthly payments for program participants.
  5. Creates flyers and brochures using digital design software.
  6. Maintains records and statistics of programs and activities.
  7. Maintains inventory of office supplies.
  8. Contributes to a respectful and safe work environment by fostering a culture of positive communication and ethical behavior, with an emphasis on providing exceptional service to internal and external customers.
