Rowan University Director of Inclusion & Belonging (I&B) - Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey

Director of Inclusion & Belonging (I&B) at Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University

About Rowan University

Rowan University is a nationally recognized doctoral research institution committed to excellence in undergraduate education. Founded in 1923, the University has evolved from a teacher preparation school to a comprehensive research university, consistently ranked among the best national public research universities by U.S. News & World Report.

The University stands as a testament to the transformative impact of visionary philanthropy. Henry Rowan’s historic $100 million gift in 1992 forever changed the trajectory of then-Glassboro State College. At the time, the gift was the largest to a public institution in the United States. It catalyzed unprecedented growth across the University and made possible its current status as a leader in education, healthcare, and research.

Under the dynamic leadership of President Ali A. Houshmand, Rowan University stands as the nation’s 4th fastest-growing research university among public doctoral institutions. Serving nearly 23,000 students across campuses in Glassboro, Camden, Sewell, and Stratford, New Jersey as well as online, the University provides a comprehensive range of programs from bachelor’s through doctoral levels.

Rowan University is distinguished as one of only three institutions nationwide to confer both M.D. and D.O. medical degrees. With plans for an accredited School of Veterinary Medicine, the University is poised to become the first and only institution in New Jersey offering a D.V.M. degree. Furthermore, it will be one of only two institutions in the country with schools of allopathic, osteopathic, and veterinary medicine.
