Salary: $25 - $32 / per hour

• Compensation is based on the payer source, relevant nursing experience, and the specific skills required for the level of care needed for each patient.

Maxim Healthcare Services (Homecare), located in Glasgow, KY, Barren County , is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric and/or adult patient in the comfort of their own homes.

Care responsibilities, but are not limited to, enteral feed management, tracheostomy care, ventilation management, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Maxim provides paid training for all nurses looking to enhance their skills or refresh any competencies required to deliver the necessary care for each patient.

Responsibilities:

· Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

· On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders

· Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

· Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

· Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.

· Current TB or Chest X-Ray.

· Current BLS card.

· One-year prior professional nursing experience preferred
