Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Maintain and repair all plant equipment for the Food Manufacturing plant, including boiler and wastewater systems, packaging department, and manufacturing food process machinery. The qualified candidate will be a full journeyman in the Maintenance department.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain high-speed production equipment.

• Practice safe work habits and wear proper PPE.

• Follow proper lockout tag-out procedures as required.

• Complete all OSHA required training, correct and report any unsafe conditions as necessary.

• Complete work orders and assignments on time without errors as directed by supervisor or manager.

• Perform package change-overs on equipment as required.

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections, adjustments, and repairs as indicated on the CMMS program.

• Participate in daily meetings and report maintenance department objectives and opportunities.
