ManpowerGroup Electronic Technician in Gilroy, California

Our client, a leader in the electronics industry, is seeking an Electronic Technician to join their team. As an Electronic Technician, you will be part of the Engineering team supporting Value Added Services (VAS). The ideal candidate will have a keen curiosity in electronic devices, excellent communication skills, and a disciplined approach to investigations, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electronic Technician

Location: Gilroy, CA

Pay Range: DOE

What's the Job?

  • Review defective devices and manage firmware updates.

  • Track returned devices using a shared spreadsheet to monitor items of interest to the engineering teams.

  • Conduct diagnostics on incoming devices relevant to the engineering teams and document findings.

  • Perform Value Added Services activities as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Maintain clear and consistent documentation of all findings using Google Docs and Sheets.

What's Needed?

  • Ideally, a minimum of a 2-year AA degree from a technical school.

  • Minimum two years’ experience in the electronics/electric fields.

  • Ability to read schematics and use basic electrical tools such as multimeters and USB meters.

  • Ability to follow written instructions detailing diagnostic tests for failed devices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
