Our client in the financial industry is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be part of the Accounting department supporting various financial areas. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.

Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Gilroy, CA

Pay Range: $31.94 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform routine and non-routine clerical and accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related financial areas.

• Reconcile bank accounts, post information, and balance general or subsidiary ledgers.

• Process payments and compile segments of monthly closings, periodic reporting, etc.

• Contact other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems.

• Assist with other accounting duties as assigned.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or related field.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in SAP or similar accounting software.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.
