Job Title: Wire Harness Assembler

Job Description

As a Wire Harness Assembler, you will strip, crimp, terminate, and continuity check wire assemblies. You will fabricate parts for wire or hardware assemblies at production floor work stations. You will utilize solder pots, solder irons, crimpers, wire cutters, wire strippers, laser wire strippers, digital calipers, and other hand tools to assemble units per customer specifications, drawings, or manufacturing process instructions. You will work as a productive team member under the immediate supervision of assigned production leads or supervisors. You must adhere to company policies and procedures described in the Employment Manual and perform all work reliably, neatly, and professionally. You will strive to meet or exceed time goals for each job performed and learn to utilize the ERP operating system as related to production and job function. You will also strive to meet all company goals, including high quality, safety, and 6S activities within your work area.

Hard Skills

  • Mechanical assembly or wire harness build at own work station

  • Use of small hand tools

  • Blueprint and work instruction reading ability

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Gilbert, Arizona.

Work Environment

Clean, AC'ed quiet work environment. Dress Code: T-shirts, jeans, and closed-toed shoes. Training: 2 full weeks in-class training where you will be certified by a trainer on the J-standards and IPC certifications. This is partially hands-on and partially written/reading training. 1st Shift: 5am to 3:30pm Monday through Thursday.
