Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Parks Field Supervisor - Cactus Yards . The Parks field Supervisor - Cactus Yards reports to the Parks & Recreation Manager. The primary job duties of this position include:
- Establish, promote, and foster a team environment and effective working relationships with parks and recreation work groups, and work with other departments, community groups, business partners, and park patrons.
- Plans and schedules daily tasks, projects, and assignments; coordinates work activities between crews, and with outside contractors; assists maintenance crews as required. Ensures all work is completed to a high standard.
- Oversee the implementation and execution of specific planned programs and activities; promoting risk management and safety; ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures; implementing procedural changes to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage work cooperatively with other departments to schedule facilities

About You

High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D).
Five years of experience in the maintenance of irrigation systems, turf, parks, and athletic fields.
Three years of lead or supervisory experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate licenses and certifications.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Valid Arizona Driver's License.
Certified Parks and Recreation Professional preferred,
