General Laborer
Hunter Contracting is seeking General Laborer to assist construction crews with various duties.
Responsible for:
Cleaning or preparing construction site to eliminate hazards.
Demolishing and/or placing construction materials.
Measuring, marking or recording layout areas for construction.
Signaling equipment operators to align and adjust machinery.
Loading, unloading materials, machinery, tools and distributing to approprate locations and personnel.
Work Qualifications:
Has a great deal of awareness of soil conditions and proper slopes.
Ability to perform heavy manual labor under adverse weather conditions.
Able to stand, stoop, kneel, climb, bend, crouch for long periods.
Able to work and communicate well with team members.
Takes pride in craftsmanship
Works within precise standards of accuracy
Prioritizes work to meet goals or deadlines.
Practices good safety habits.
Education & Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum one (1) years' experience in the construction industry in highway/street & road construction.
