Flatbed Truck Tarper

PeopleReady of Gibsonton, FL is now hiring Flatbed Truck Tarpers! The primary function for the Tarper is to secure tarps on pre-loaded trailers. This position also involves working inside and outside, putting tarps on product, strapping the loads and putting buggies on the loads which will be prepared for our delivery drivers to pick up each load and deliver.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 / hour

What you'll be doing as an Flatbed Truck Tarper

• The primary function for a Tarper is to assist and secure tarps on pre-loaded trailers.

• Tarp pre-loaded trailers per customer requirement

• Run tarp machine

• Apply pre-protective covering to secure loads

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. consistently

• Ability to work outside under a tent while being exposed to Florida weather conditions

• Other duties as assigned

Available shifts:

 Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) & Weekends

Job requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Work in a fast-paced environment

• Self-motivated

• Team player

• Background Check Required

• Drug Test Required
