The job

We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support the global product stewardship and regulatory affairs Crop Protection team. In close collaboration with business, technology and product management, you give support in protecting the existing portfolio of products and actively engage in projects to extend our growth worldwide. This is a temporary full-time position, to be based in Belgium and reporting into the Global Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs Team Leader Crop Protection.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of registration files for Crop protection products in order to obtain official certificates on a global scale.

  • Cooperate with consultants globally to prepare these registration files.

  • Participate in technical discussions with your colleagues, external experts or authorities, and contribute by sharing your expertise and knowledge.

  • Confer with different internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, R&D) to remain aligned with the internal business strategy

  • Communicate regulatory changes and assess the potential business impact.

  • Develop and maintain a solid professional network of consultants, government officials, external laboratories.

  • Keep up to date of the evolution and trends in Crop Protection regulations worldwide.

Qualifications & skills

  • Master in applied sciences (Bioscience engineering, Chemistry, Biology, etc.)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in registration of crop protection products, preferably on a global level.

  • Expertise in Environmental Fate is an asset.

  • Good knowledge of written and spoken Dutch and English is essential, knowledge of French, Spanish and/or any other language is an advantage.

  • Ability to work independently and gain knowledge of the Eastman crop protection portfolio of products.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and results-driven, with excellent interpersonal skills.
