This is a first shift positions scheduled Monday-Thursday 4:00am-2:00pm. The hourly rate of pay is $21.25. This position is located at our Plant on Route 30 in Gettysburg.
Operates body preparation equipment for production.
Major Functions and Scope:
- Operates various body preparation equipment.
- Records batch information on bins.
- Vacuums and brushes mixing equipment as necessary between color changes.
- Performs required quality checks.
- Loads and unloads trucks as needed.
- Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
- Follows standard operating and safety procedures and wears required personal protective equipment.
- Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Education and Knowledge:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- 0-1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.
Competencies:
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good record keeping skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Accurate measurement capability.
- Ability to understand and speak basic English.
- Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
- Must be Dal-Tile certified to operator powered industrial trucks.
