Chemical Manufacturing TechnicianJob Description:

• Operate process equipment and utilities.

• Use the Allen-Bradley Control System to control process operations.

• Perform chemical reactions on a gram to multi-kilogram scale.

• Solve common synthetic problems.

• Understand and interpret analytical data.

• Manage and track project progress including monitoring timelines, raw materials, equipment availability, and yields to ensure project success.

• Prepare production areas for cGMP project initiation or changeover.

• Produce clear documentation of all results and procedures.

• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.

• Use the work order system to request maintenance and/or improvement work.

• Operate reactor systems within various production units. This includes knowledge of all ancillary equipment such as storage tanks, waste tanks, heating/cooling units, vacuum units, and scrubber systems.

• Use the PLC Control System for the operation of the unit, recognize and respond to alarms or emergency situations.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Chemistry or related field with 2-4 years of experience in an API GMP manufacturing facility, OR

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or related field with 0-2 years of experience in an API GMP manufacturing facility OR

• 3-5 years experience with chemical operating
