Description

We are recruiting a Systems Administrator to join our team in Georgetown, South Carolina. The role involves managing and troubleshooting various systems including Veeam, VMware, Office 365/Azure, Meraki Switches, Active Directory, and Group Policies. The successful candidate will provide IT support, system setup and configuration, inventory management, and manage network and security measures.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and provide support for workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and network hardware such as routers and printers.

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and network devices in line with company standards.

• Maintain detailed records of equipment, including IP/Mac addresses, warranty info, and location.

• Address open support tickets and ensure resolutions are achieved, escalating when necessary.

• Regularly review logs, including virus definitions, backups, and software updates to ensure data integrity.

• Coordinate with external vendors, ensuring proper channels of communication and adherence to protocols.

• Maintain and control access to the company intranet and core systems.

• Manage firewalls, DMS systems, and implement security measures for data protection.

• Conduct and participate in compliance and technology training annually.

• Serve as the main point of contact for disaster recovery from core processor failures.

• Supervise and maintain VoIP systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, and Cloud Technologies.

• Experience with Database management and Dell Technologies.

• Familiarity with AB Testing and Active Directory.

• Proven experience with Backup Technologies and Cluster Analysis.

• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Computer Hardware.

• Demonstrated proficiency in VMware.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to conduct research into hardware and software issues and products as required.

• Highly self-motivated and directed.

• Strong customer service orientation.
