Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:

  • 2 years of technical education or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficiency in multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving.

  • Ability to analyze problems and implement strategic solutions.

  • Experience using robotic programming tools like Fanuc Paint Pro and Kawasaki Carott3.

  • Familiarity with quality measurement tools (Elco-meters, Fisher Dual Scope, Wave-scan).

  • Steel toe boots are required.

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

  • Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications.

  • Hands-on experience with Fanuc and Kawasaki robots.

  • Knowledge of digital engineering and related certifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Travel is going to be about 50%

responsibilities:

Online Robot Programming:

  • Program robots for Sealer, UBC, and Dampening as well as Primer, Base, and Clear.

  • Run trials, adjust parameters, and ensure quality meets established standards.

Offline Robot Programming:

  • Utilize simulation software to conduct reach studies and cycle time analysis.

  • Proficient in Fanuc Paint Pro and Kawasaki Carott3 programming software.

Quality Evaluation:

  • Use tools like Elco-meters, Fisher Dual Scope, Wave-scan, and BYK-Mac to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create handover documents, including snapshots of robot processes, node maps, quality data, and program backups.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Work with Microsoft Office to prepare written reports and communicate effectively with diverse teams and management.

Support and Maintenance:

  • Troubleshoot robotic systems and support maintenance teams during major breakdowns as a technical expert.

  • Collect and track quality adjustment data to ensure ongoing process improvements.
