We are looking for a TAR Scheduler to join our CM team in Geismar, LA.

This position is responsible for developing, communicating, and maintaining a workable all-inclusive Turnaround schedule to balance work requirements, production priorities, and resources. It ensures the effective deployment of all crafts, equipment, and outside resources required to complete a turnaround. This position supports the safe, quality, and cost-effective execution of Turnaround work.

As a TAR Scheduler, you will

• Leveraging your proficiency in P6 to develop and maintain an all-inclusive turnaround schedule.

• Facilitate scheduling optimization meetings to ensure schedules meet the timing requirements of production and all resources.

• Issues the required schedule and resource reports from Primavera

• Prepares and distributes the look-ahead reports for all resources.

• Reviews validates, and enters all field-provided schedule status updates.

• Executes scheduled what-if scenarios, performing an analysis, and reporting on the result

• Leads daily schedule review meeting before each shift during execution.

If you have...

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as turnaround scheduler using Primavera P6

• In-depth knowledge of planning is preferred.

• Possess a good working knowledge of all crafts and a solid understanding of turnaround work processes.

• Ability to communicate effectively with facts and figures along with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate.

• Experience with SAP.
