Job Title: Entry-level Production Operator

Job Description

Operate drum and tote filling requirements. Properly choose correct drums to roll onto conveyors. Stencil/label containers per customer requirements for filling. Check empty containers. Add dye to drums for shipping, including pulling full drums from the line and putting them in proper locations. Repackage drums. Pump drums to flush tank. Maintain customer requirements for quality control. Perform daily inspections of pipelines and valves. Perform minor maintenance activities. Execute operating orders, work orders, and other associated documents. Communicate and work with others to accomplish work tasks. Problem-solve and troubleshoot as issues arise. Properly use PPE. Perform daily housekeeping as needed. Other duties as directed or required.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in GEISMAR, Louisiana.

Work Environment

Shift: 6am - 3pm (day shift), overtime is voluntary and encouraged. Typically, overtime is available on Saturdays. It is a warehouse environment inside an oil and gas terminal/plant setting. Steel-toe boots and flame-resistant clothing (FRCs) are required. Steel-toe boots are provided after a certain amount of time. Team size: There are 50 employees on site currently with roughly 15 contractors.
