Bilingual HR Representative (English/Spanish)

A dynamic food manufacturing client is seeking a Bilingual HR Representative to join their team. This role is vital in supporting HR operations, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring clear communication across English- and Spanish-speaking teams. The HR Representative will handle key HR functions, including leave administration, benefits coordination, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employee leave programs, including FMLA and other leave requests.

  • Administer and enforce the company’s attendance policies.

  • Coordinate benefit enrollment processes for new hires, annual open enrollment, and employee status changes.

  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events.

  • Support recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.

  • Translate and communicate company documents and announcements for Spanish-speaking employees.

  • Address employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and workplace concerns.

  • Provide administrative support, including managing phone calls, filing, and other office tasks.

  • Act as a backup for payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.

  • Perform additional tasks to support HR team and organizational goals as needed.

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 1-2 years of experience with leave administration, including FMLA, preferred.

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required, with the ability to translate documents and communicate effectively in both languages.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).

  • Familiarity with payroll systems such as Ultimate Software is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train small and large groups.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a professional approach to handling confidential matters.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

The anticipated pay range for this position is $22.63 - $32.82 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and the requirements of the role. Pay ranges are reviewed annually to ensure competitiveness in the market.
