L3Harris Life Cycle Material Manager LCMM in Gatineau, Canada

Job Description:

The Embedded LCMM Support role is to assist the CP140 WSM and L3Harris Program Management team in the resolution of a heavy volume of Airworthiness files and tasks. This is done by liaising with various parts of a greater team: DND; CP140 Programs Team; Engineering; Supply Chain Management; Repair and Overhaul; Contracts; Integrated Logistics Support; Configuration, Data Management and the in-service CP140 LCMMs.

Diplomacy, attention to detail, and risk management are essential practices within the team. High volumes of DND related processes such as Corrective Maintenance Program Change (CMPC), Alternate Part Approval Form (APAF), Aircraft Inspection Change Proposal (AICP) and Aircraft Modification Approval Form (AMAF) require review and subject matter expertise recommendations to be made to the customer.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide technically sound recommendations to the CP140 WSM and L3Harris Program Team.

  • Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate progress of Airworthiness files and tasks.

  • Carry out other duties as required.

    Qualifications:

  • Technologist diploma or equivalent training and experience, preferably in a military environment.

  • Experience as a Life Cycle Materials Manager

  • Previous experience in the maintenance and support of DND avionics.

  • Familiarity with Canadian Air Force support infrastructure and processes.

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a diverse team.

  • In-depth knowledge of the RCAF airworthiness polices.

  • Experience working within ADAM.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of DRMIS an asset.

  • Sufficient English language skills to be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.

  • Ability to communicate in both official languages is considered an asset

  • Ability to write routine and complex reports and complete required performance metrics.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and convey ideas/information one-on-one and in group settings.

    Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;

  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
