CaroMont Health is hiring an Full-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work Day shifts within our Imaging Services team at the CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC!

Schedule: M-F (some weekends)

Shift: 6:00A-3:30P/7:00A-4:30P (rotating)

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Roles and Responsibilities:

• To operate scintillation detectors and computers which produce images and measure concentrations of radionuclides in specific body areas and body products to obtain information for diagnosis.

• To assist with the therapeutic administration of radionuclides.

  Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.

• Registered by CNMT or ARRT.

• Thorough knowledge and skill in performing nuclear medicine procedures Considerable ability to accept new responsibilities as new equipment and examinations are introduced into the department.

• Current BLS certification required.
