CTG Process Control Engineer II in Gary, Indiana
CTG is seeking to fill a Process Control Engineer II opening for our client in Gary, IN.
Location: Gary, IN
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance process control hardware and software solutions in a heavy industrial environment.
Support production hardware and software applications, SCADA systems, Graphical HMI applications, and LAN communications.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for industrial plant process control systems, including programming and maintenance.
Optimize and improve industrial plant process control solutions to meet business requirements.
Translate business requirements into industrial application solutions.
Collaborate with personnel across various departments, working both independently and as part of a team.
Analyze and address short and long-term hardware, software, equipment, and instrumentation requirements.
Provide cost-effective and appropriate technical solutions.
Offer clear oral and written communication to various stakeholders, including departmental management, operations management, operating crews, and support personnel.
Provide 24x7 process control support for the industrial environment.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of industrial plant process control systems.
Experience with SCADA, Graphical HMI applications, and LAN communications.
Ability to analyze and solve technical challenges in a complex industrial environment.
Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining control systems.
Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience:
3-5 years of relevant experience in process control systems, industrial automation, or a similar field.
Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining hardware and software solutions for industrial environments.
Proven ability to support 24x7 industrial operations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
