SMS Group 2nd Shift Mechanical Assembler in Gary, Indiana
Are you Mechanically Inclined? Like to work with your hands?SMS group Gary has open positions for Entry Level Mechanical Assembler that will disassemble, clean, repair, assemble, and test some components of continuous casting apparatus.
Shifts Available:
2nd: 4pm - 2am
The right candidate will
- Ability to assemble and disassemble various components.
- Document daily activities
- Must possess good mechanical skills in daily operations.
- Must be courteous and work well with others.
- Complete maintenance request forms for items in work area in need of repair
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, upholding a world-class standard of housekeeping.
- Be safety minded worker who is drug free and dependable
What youll need
- Good mechanical skills - WILLING TO TRAIN!!!
- Good working knowledge of mechanical tools.
- Self-motivation to identify, analyze and independently work to find solutions to flow issues is essential.
- Ability to learn and understand critical processes and operations in assigned areas.
- Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks.
