Objectives of the position: Efficient management of human and material resources to achieve production & costs objectives. Ensure the operation in accordance with Quality, Safety and Hygiene requirements.
In charge of: Supervisors, leaders, and production operators
Academic training: Engineering
Years of experience: 5+ years
Languages: Advanced English
Mandatory knowledge or skills:
Management of production times and movements and online production.
Knowledge of production machinery.
Knowledge of production planning.
Knowledge of inventory management.
Knowledge of process design, quality and continuous improvement.
Industrial Costs (4Wall, earned hours).
Continuous improvement methods (Kaizen , 6-sigma, TPM, Lean, etc.).
Desirable skills: Leadership, team management, effectiveness in interpersonal communication.
Ability and judgment to make decisions in critical situations.
Conflict resolution capacity.
Main functions of the position (primary responsibilities of the position):
Plan and control production to achieve defined volume objectives
Ensure the availability of raw materials, working in collaboration with Supply Chain
Ensure the availability of human resources in the area, their training and development
Management of direct production costs
Control and adjustment of inventories, working together with the logistics team
Commissioning of new equipment in collaboration with Maintenance
KPIs : goal setting, calculations and reporting
Explore cost reduction opportunities and track reports accordingly
Involve the area in the practices of SEAL (security) and PEAK (productivity) programs, as fundamental tools for the development of activities
Definition of Budget and CAPEX for the area
Additional functions of the position: Participate in training or training workshops.
Attend management meetings.
Develop the team in charge.
