MaineGeneral Health Residential Care Specialist (PSS or CNA) - 32 hours/week, Alzheimer's Care Center in Gardiner, Maine
Job Summary:Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? We're seeking dedicated individuals to join our team at the Alzheimer's Care Center and provide compassionate support to residents in a group living environment.
Job Description:
The Work:
Performs basic patient care activities of daily living as delegated and supervised by an RN.
Ensures social, emotional, and recreational well-being of residents by participating in 1:1 and group activity-focused care programs in cooperation with the Director of Activities.
Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Assists with keeping patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
You Have:
Current Maine CNA or PSS certification is required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred
1 year or more of experience preferred
