Description We are looking to bring on board a meticulous Staff Accountant to join our Industrial sector team based in Gardena, California. The Staff Accountant will be tasked with handling credit applications, managing customer invoices, resolving customer queries, and ensuring all payments are accounted for appropriately. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and propose credit limits for approval.

• Ensure timely processing of customer invoices.

• Handle credit memos with appropriate approvals.

• Resolve customer inquiries and disputes to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Manage payment posting including ACH, checks, and credit card, using SAP.

• Deposit checks into the bank in a timely manner.

• Collect outstanding receivables promptly.

• Review and reconcile accounts receivable ledger to guarantee all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

• Calculate commission for salesmen and rebate for customers.

• Assist with company credit card expenditures posting.

• Assist with month-end close processes including bank reconciliation, journal entries posting, and account reconciliation.

• Summarize financial status and prepare trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.

• Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and CPAs. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary.

• Familiarity with General Ledger management is expected.

• Ability to handle Journal Entries effectively.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Proficiency in NetSuite software.

• Must have experience working with Oracle software.

• QuickBooks experience is needed.

• SAP software knowledge is required.
