We are offering an exciting opportunity in the industry for a Sr. Accountant, located in Gardena, California, 90248, United States. The role involves managing accounts, assisting with financial forecasting, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements and supporting audit preparations, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Manage all property-related accounts, including tracking rent rolls and operating expenses

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as variance analysis

• Perform month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and bank reconciliations

• Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable/receivable

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws

• Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation

• Use property management software (such as Yardi, MRI, etc.) to track transactions

• Reconcile account balances and balance sheets

• Utilize software tools like Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks.

Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Capable of performing Bank Reconciliations

• Comprehensive knowledge of General Ledger

• Ability to handle Journal Entries

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experienced in Month End Close procedures

• Familiar with NetSuite software

• Knowledge of Oracle software

• Experience with SAP software
