ManpowerGroup Finance Manager in Garden City, New York

Our client in the finance industry is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. As a Finance Manager, you will be part of the finance department supporting the managing partner and the firm's staff. The ideal candidate will have strong financial management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Garden City, NY

Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000

What's the Job?

  • Assist Managing Partner with strategic planning and practice management

  • Generally facilitate any and all attorney and staff needs

  • Manage the firm’s property leases

  • Oversee accounting

  • Age Receivables management

  • Budget management and forecasting

  • Weekly meeting with Managing Attorney to discuss cash flow, client financial reporting and analysis, and all other firm matters

  • Daily Cash report to Managing Attorney and Treasurer

  • Present financial information to Management Committee monthly

  • Liaison w/the bank/accountants/specific vendors

  • Assist with managing attorney compensation

  • Work along with 401(k) Provider and actuaries

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
