Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable tasks, ensuring accurate data entry, and handling invoice processing. This is a direct-hire position that offers room for growth and a full-benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable in an accurate and timely manner

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate records

• Ensure accurate data entry for all transactions

• Efficiently process invoices and ensure they are coded correctly

• Execute check runs regularly to maintain financial stability

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and manage financial data

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Resolve customer inquiries professionally and promptly

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and related tasks

• Prior experience in check runs

• Knowledge and understanding of coding invoices

• Strong data entry skills with an eye for detail and accuracy

• Experience with invoice processing and resolving discrepancies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other related accounting software

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, a degree in accounting or related field is a plus.
