The PACS business is highly visible and one of our most significant portfolios within HID Global. The PACS products include smart cards, mobile access and identifications, software, services and controllers for physical access control.

As our PACS EM BU Finance Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Provide guidance and development to other members on the team around priorities, process and ideas.

  • Work closely with peers within the PACS finance team to improve tools, efficiency and deliveries to the business.

  • Lead the day to day financial analysis activities in support of the EM Business Unit

  • Collaborate with Accounting Shared Services on the month end closing activities and conduct variance analyses.

  • Responsible for the enforcement of consistent revenue and related key metric reporting and dashboards in the new Oracle Global Analytics Platform. This involves partnership with key stakeholders in the sales management team and the PACS Finance revenue team to oversee a centralized consistent view of the business.

  • Full P&L ownership of the BU: sales, Direct Material, FPC and SG&A. Direct and Allocated costs.

  • Prepare and present the BU Monthly Performance Review to BA senior leadership.

  • Lead the Business Unit annual plan/quarterly forecast processes. Prepare and present reviews with BA senior leadership.

  • Prepare ad-hoc financial presentations for business reviews and other executive meetings.

  • Function as primary subject-matter expert with BU Managing Director including full Lockpack responsibility

  • Partner closely with the business on the key strategic initiatives and projects. Conduct profitability analyses (IRR and payback).

  • Provide financial insight in assessing risk and opportunities to achieving financial commitments; independently, be able to identify issues, and provide solutions.

  • Lead the analysis and conclusions around key performance metrics, including communication to business and HID leadership.

  • Be able to connect the business/functional segment activities to financial performance and summarize for the key leaders.

  • Influence the business/functional segment leaders, including compiling final recommendations and presenting to the leaders.

  • Have a “seat at the table” with the business during discussions, decisions and go forward plans.

    Your Experience and Education include:

  • B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Requires 5 years’ experience with a broad range of financial responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of physical access control products, services and go-to-market strategies

  • Experience as a finance business partner with sales teams
