We seek a highly qualified and motivated individual to complement our robust research on the blue economy with expertise in environmental management of coastal and marine systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong research background in the policy and management of social-ecological systems to include governance of the complex interactions between humans and natural ecosystems. Appointees will also be expected to pursue, where mutually beneficial, interdisciplinary collaborations with researchers across the university and to provide professional service to the department, college, and university. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, and competitive start-up packages will be available to develop extramurally funded and independent research programs.
