ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Department of Respiratory Therapy is seeking a qualified and dedicated Adjunct Professor to teach courses in Respiratory Therapy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, clinical experience, and a passion for educating future healthcare professionals.
Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on or virtual demonstrations in respiratory therapy courses.
Develop course materials, assessments, and learning objectives in alignment with program standards.
Provide mentorship and guidance to students in clinical settings.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the educational experience and curriculum.
Stay current with advancements in respiratory care and integrate them into course content.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
Current license or certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Previous teaching experience at the college level preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to student success and professional development.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctoral Degree in related field.
Specialty credentials by the NBRC.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
