ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Department of Respiratory Therapy is seeking a qualified and dedicated Adjunct Professor to teach courses in Respiratory Therapy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, clinical experience, and a passion for educating future healthcare professionals.

  • Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on or virtual demonstrations in respiratory therapy courses.

  • Develop course materials, assessments, and learning objectives in alignment with program standards.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students in clinical settings.

  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the educational experience and curriculum.

  • Stay current with advancements in respiratory care and integrate them into course content.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

  • Current license or certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

  • Previous teaching experience at the college level preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to student success and professional development.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Doctoral Degree in related field.

  • Specialty credentials by the NBRC.

SALARY:

Commensurate with experience.
