We are looking to bring aboard an Accounts Payable Accountant to our client in Gallatin, Tennessee. This role is pivotal in assisting with the management of financial transactions and record keeping. You will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, focusing on the processing of invoices, cost coding, and account reconciliation. Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle the procedure of due payments for invoices.

• Ensure the coding of invoices is accurate and properly executed.

• Direct invoices to the relevant personnel for approval.

• Confirm the necessary verifications and approvals for invoices before posting.

• Compile invoices that need to be finalized for payment.

• Manage multiple tasks effectively under specific time constraints.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date files pertaining to accounts payable.

• Undertake the reconciliation of statements.

• Lend a hand with miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role within the construction industry

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrable experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Familiarity with Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of Job Cost and Project Accounting

• Knowledge of Construction Accounting is required

• Experience with Foundation Software is a plus
