Eaton Corporation Warranty Manager in Galesburg, Michigan
Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Warranty Manager. This position is based at our Galesburg, MI facility.
The Warranty Manager will lead, facilitate and coordinate the warranty claims administration and transaction processes for Vehicle Group – CVT and Auto products with our respective channel customers (OEM, dealer, National Accounts/fleets). The position will ensure that claims are administered in accordance with defined OEM long term agreements, published warranty terms and conditions and claim coding strategies. The incumbent will also be responsible for monthly warranty expense (Financial Rolling Forecast) forecasts and tracking of actual warranty spend versus plan.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year.

What you’ll do:
Lead team of direct reports responsible for the warranty claims administration and transaction processes for Vehicle Group – Commercial Vehicle and Automotive products with our respective channel customers (OEM, dealer, National Accounts/fleets).
Manage assigned customer account relationships - utilize knowledge of customer long term agreement terms, policies and processes to meet and exceed customer expectation.
Contributes to the team to accomplish functional strategic plans, organizational goals, daily tasks and records/monitors performance metrics. Monitor staffing levels and claim volume to ensure best-in-class service levels.
Lead in the deployment and execution of warranty administrative policies, guidelines, repair strategies, core administration, part return requirements and specific customer claim response requirements. Oversee and drive standard repair time (SRT) modifications as needed.
Acquire and deploy EBS concepts and tools to drive sustainable process improvement and change. Collaborate with others to transfer and/or deploy best practice knowledge across the Warranty team, Knowledge of Eaton CVT and auto products, tools and systems required to adjudicate and transact warranty claims efficiently and accurately.
Utilize Microsoft Office products and Oracle OBIEE to efficiently manage and analyze data to report system effectiveness and support internal or external customer requests.
Resolve warranty issues at OEM and Dealers in a timely manner and with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Required Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum five (5) years experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering and/or Operations related fields
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
No relocation is available for this position. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Galesburg, MI to be considered. Active Duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business and/or Engineering
Experience within Automotive/Trucking industry
Problem Solving skills (8D, A3, Six Sigma)
Experience with warranty claims systems
Skills:
Ability to travel at minimum 25%
Proficiency with operational change management
