Insight Global Product Warranty Inspector in Galesburg, Michigan
Job Description
A company in the greater Kalamazoo area is looking for a warranty specialist. This person will be responsible for inspection of warranty return product according to established procedures, specifications, and standards. This includes performing visual inspections to verify product conformance and identify non-conformities documenting in a database. Recording inspection results accurately and completely, documenting findings, measurements, and observations in warranty records and databases. Assisting in the identification, segregation, and disposition of non-conforming materials and products, collaborating with cross-functional teams. This person will also participate in audits providing input and feedback to enhance product quality and performance of the work being completed.
$16/hr -$20/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing related environment
Familiar with inspection techniques and measurement tools
Proficient in operating a computer to enter data and follow work instructions
Close attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Able to work independently with little direction after training
Able to lift up to 55 lbs null
