Overview

In this role, you’ll support product sales, provide expert scientific advice, and collaborate with laboratories to design innovative applications. You’ll be the crucial link between our customers, R&D, and Sales & Marketing teams, driving product enhancements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
This is a field-based role and requires approximately 50% annual travel domestically.

Responsibilities
Scientific Expertise and Customer Support: Provide scientific expertise and applications support to customers on ATCC’s cellular biology and/or microbiology products and services. Offer technical mentorship to customers, enhancing their satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Collaboration and Customer Engagement: Partner with direct and indirect Sales teams to deliver pre- and post-sales customer support activities. Address customer issues effectively and provide optimal solutions.
Product Management and Market Insights:Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and customers for BETA testing of new products. Gather data on marketing trends, competitive products, and market intel to inform new product development strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years' experience or equivalent experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
Hands on experience in cell biology application workflow
Experience in a customer-facing scientific role is a plus.
Candidates with advanced degrees (MS or PhD) with 0-3 years of experience are also encouraged to apply.
Strong working knowledge of cellular biology, toxicology or pharmacology preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
This is a field-based role and requires >50% annual travel domestically.
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Experience with BETA testing and product development is a plus.
Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
