Cooke County Title Clerk Tax Assessor-Collector's Office in GAINESVILLE, Texas

The Title Clerk for the Tax Assessor-Collector's office will process vehicle and trailer registrations and title transfer applications, assist customers, verify insurance, answer public inquiries concerning titles and registration, perform clerical duties, file documents, balance cash drawer, answer phones, order essential office supplies, complete daily and weekly reports, and perform other duties as assigned.

High school graduation or equivalent is required. Excellent customer service, computer skills, phone skills and accurate money handling experience is a must. Bilingual a plus.

The candidate must have reception skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task, while working independently. The ability to communicate professionally with the public is also required.
