Job Title: Process Technician

Job Description

The Process Technician is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes within the fabrication department. This role involves monitoring production, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all processes are efficient and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor and analyze production processes to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

  • Identify and resolve issues in the manufacturing process to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.

  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Maintain accurate records of production data, process changes, and quality control results.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement process improvements.

  • Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment.

  • Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Essential Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Three to five years of related experience or a combination of work and education.

  • Experience in blueprint reading, assembly, electrical schematics, process control, process improvement, sheet metal fabrication, press brake operation, CNC, welding, and quality control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flowery Branch, Georgia.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
