Job Description

One of the major healthcare organizations in Gainesville, GA, is looking to hire a full time Med\Surg - Oncology / Hospice RN. This unit is a 25-bed nursing unit. It is a designated oncology, hospice, and end-of-life care. This unit may take on patients from other units if census is high. However, this unit is primarily providing care to high acuity oncology patients. You will work in a Team Based Nursing Environment. You must be team oriented. Care is provided for a wide variety of illnesses, including but not limited to:

 Chemotherapy

 Blood transfusions post chemotherapy

 Hospice and end-of-life care

 Ulcerative colitis

 Liver cirrhosis

 Gastrointestinal hemorrhage

 Abdominal pain (non-surgical), N/V, D, Gastritis

 Cholecystic

Skills and Requirements

Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.

 Educational Requirements: BSN

 Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience

 RN, BLS null
