Robert Half Accountant in Gainesville, Georgia

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Gainesville, Georgia. This role is based in the industry of financial services, and will involve handling rebate processes and procedures on site.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and evaluating data provided by the rebate team, and applying relevant formulas in Excel to determine client payouts

• Creating payments using accounting software systems and ensuring their successful clearance

• Collaborating with the internal team to calculate rebates and manage data

• Addressing and resolving client inquiries regarding rebates and payments

• Utilizing accounting functions to maintain accurate customer credit records

• Processing customer credit applications with efficiency and precision

• Interpreting contracts and liaising with account managers to understand client rebate expectations

• Regularly auditing accounts and taking appropriate action

• Employing ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools in the management of account receivables and payables

• Utilizing software such as Great Plains and Excel (Pivot Tables/Vlookups) to facilitate duties. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Competency in Cl Programming is essential.

• Practical experience with Concur is needed.

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary.

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions is expected.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Knowledge of managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.

• Auditing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy, are necessary.

• Ability to manage Balance Sheet Account is crucial.
