SALARY RANGE
$39,366.60 - $43,303.26/annually $1,514.10 - $1,665.51/bi-weekly

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
P rovides after-hours monitoring and oversight of residential facility to ensure compliance with federal, statewide, and facility standards, regulations, protocols, and operating procedures. Identifies any potential problems or deficiencies. Provides direction and assistance to facility staff and consults with facility administrative staff and program managers to resolve programmatic, administrative, and operational issues and problems.
Consults with the Center Monitors, home managers, and/or shift supervisors to coordinate home staffing ratios and resolves after-hours staffing issues and concerns. Addresses and resolves employee and resident-related issues to include emergency management issues, emergency responses, and transportation, i.e., medical pick-up.
Develops corrective action plans and trains staff on their implementation based on active treatment, infection control, housekeeping, data recording, mealtime/snack monitoring, rounds and inventory reports. Monitors compliance through daily, after-hours rounds on the homes and attending center-wide activities. Reports findings and actions steps to facility management.
Assists with the development, implementation, and follow-up of appropriate action plans related to cited deficiencies secondary to Agency for Health Care Administration audits.
Conducts assigned timekeeper duties. Completes actions to include but not limited to the review of timesheets. Gathers data and submits reports to Facility Management to ensure accurate pay warrants.
Monitors to ensure training and oversight to direct care staff on infection control policies and procedures to include respiratory precautions and isolation protocols with a focus on sanitizing the environment and appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
Assists as needed to ensure compliance with all required trainings as prescribed by the agency, department and facility related to mandatory curricula listed in the Learning Management System. Assists with compliance with staff’s annual health screenings.
Assists staff with residents’ active treatment to include but not limited to bathing, dining, physical and nutritional management, and general daily routine.
Adjusts work hours as needed to meet the needs of the facility and performs related duties as required and assigned by supervisor or administration.
Performs other related duties as instructed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A valid Florida Driver’s License.
If hired with an out-of-state license a valid Florida State driver’s license must be obtained within 30 days.
Corrective Lenses Restricted license are acceptable provided the driver wears the corrective lenses while operating a state vehicle.
Must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency.
Must be willing to work beyond the normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels and meet the needs of the Agency.
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with or providing services to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to include at least one (1) year providing leadership as part of a management team.
This position may be required to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency per APD OP 2-0035.
This position is critical to the safety and supervision of residents and may require the incumbent to work beyond their normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels in the facility.

DIRECT DEPOSIT PROGRAM
As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Rather than receiving a paper paycheck, your funds will be deposited directly into your account at your financial institution. This will be accomplished by Electronic Funds Transfer. Banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions are eligible to accept such deposits. Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.
BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
No applicant for a designated position will be employed or permitted to volunteer until the Level 2 screening results are received, reviewed, and approved by the Agency.
Level 2 background screening shall include, but not be limited to, fingerprinting for Statewide criminal and juvenile records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and Federal criminal records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation and may include local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
