Job Description:
The Readiness Lead will be instrumental in supporting organizational change management efforts throughout UF’s “Empowering UF” ERP implementation project. This role involves preparing the institution for the transition by managing readiness activities and staff, coordinating with other key leads, and ensuring all stakeholders are well-prepared for the change. The ideal candidate will have expertise in change management within a higher education setting and experience working with ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Drive organizational readiness:
Support leadership to align leaders’ goals and mission with changes happening with ERP implementation
Understand organizational structure and provide input on changes that need to be made (support individualized OCM plan for each unit)
Develop and deliver training programs to equip employees, leaders, and teams with the necessary skills to manage and adapt to change
Facilitate discussions and workshops to guide teams through the change process, ensuring smooth transitions and high levels of engagement
Identify and engage with key stakeholders across the institution to understand their needs and concerns regarding the ERP implementation.
Provide support and guidance to stakeholders to facilitate their adaptation to the new system that coincides with culture of individual units
Maintain detailed documentation of readiness activities, change management efforts, and stakeholder interactions.
Prepare and present regular reports on readiness status, progress, and challenges to project leadership
Readiness Assessment and Monitoring:
Support readiness and adoption assessments to evaluate the institution’s preparedness for the ERP transition
Meet with units and provide tools and resources to help guide/track progress toward implementation
Monitor and analyze readiness metrics, providing feedback and recommendations to address any gaps or issues
Coordination with Communications and Training:
Work closely with the Communications Lead to ensure effective dissemination of information related to the ERP implementation
Partner with the Training Lead to develop and execute training plans that align with readiness and change management efforts
Expected Salary:
$80,000-90,000, commensurate with experience
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus
Proven experience in change management, particularly in the context of ERP implementations
Ability to design and deliver training sessions and facilitate discussions to guide groups to productive outcomes
Experience working in a higher education environment is highly desirable
Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside Communications and Training professionals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups
Strong analytical skills, with experience in conducting readiness assessments and impact analyses
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
