Job Description:

This is a 9-month, 1.0 FTE, non-tenure track faculty position with potential summer employment opportunities. Responsibilities related to this position may include, but are not limited to, designing and teaching courses in Motor Learning, Biomechanics, and/or Sport and Exercise Psychology. Primary duties for this position are instructional, but involvement in service at the department, college, and university levels is also expected.

The department is one of the premier Applied Physiology & Kinesiology programs in the world. Currently, APK employs 32 full-time faculty and enrolls approximately 1,100 students (900 undergraduate and 230 graduate). Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have an academic doctorate degree (PhD, EdD, or DSc) in kinesiology, exercise physiology, biobehavioral sciences, or a closely related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:Applicants must possess good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. Applicants should be passionate about student learning and demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence. Additionally, applicants should have experience in developing new courses, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and integrating experiential learning into the curriculum. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in online course design and instruction.
