Job Description:

This position, part of the Banking and Merchant Services department within the CFO Division, assists with reviewing and processing student payments and departmental deposits. The Fiscal Assistant III handles returned checks, change order requests, setting up departments and access control within the cashiering system. This position assists in other areas in Banking and Merchant Services when needed during peak times or during staff absences.

Knowledge of banking procedures and of procedures/practices for receiving and depositing cash/checks. A demonstrated ability to effectively maintain open communication channels with all stakeholders. Resolve problems and understand, interpret, and apply applicable rules, policies, and procedures.

  • Transact/CashNet Administration

  • Departmental Support

  • Banking and Merchant Services Support and Other Tasks as Assigned

Expected Salary:

$16.76-21.03

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and five years of general accounts transaction experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for required experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of banking procedures and practices for receiving and depositing cash and checks. Solid understanding of financial policies and procedures, handles complex calculations, verifies financial data and processes account transactions. Customer service skills and effective communication with stakeholders. Work independently and is a resource to other team members
