Job Duties:
Updating the department website
Creating graphics for the department’s social media channels, video boards and website
Photography and videography of department events
Monitoring news sources for mentions of department faculty and students
Expected Salary:
$15/hour
Minimum Requirements:
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and have a valid Federal Work-Study (FWS) permit. Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week. Must have a Federal Work Study work award for Fall 2024 semester.

Demonstrated interest in the communications field and scientific research
Experience with (or the desire to learn): website maintenance using a content management system (CMS)
Basic graphic design experience
Videography and video editing experience
Photography and photo editing experience (may require local travel in state vehicle)
Confident with verbal and written communication
Possess strong organization skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Valid Driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity
