Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a QA Supervisor to join their team. As a QA Supervisor, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to food safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Supervisor

Location: Gaffney, South Carolina

What's the Job?

• Oversee the QA team for the assigned shift, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.

• Verify implementation of food safety and quality training for plant team members and QA staff.

• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to written protocols for product safety and sanitation.

• Collaborate with plant management to communicate with USDA personnel as needed.

• Implement and verify systems for checking, validating, and ensuring process compliance.

What's Needed?

• One plus years of related experience and/or training in a food manufacturing environment.

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in generating letters and spreadsheets.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to supervise a group of personnel performing related tasks.

• Experience with HACCP and food safety regulations is preferred.
